Abu Hamza, leader of a community Islamic center based in Melbourne, publicly rejected on Monday the “false accusations” made against him by prosecutors from the United Arab Emirates.
The prosecutors linked his center to the Omani co-pilot suspected of attempting to hijack a Flydubai flight bound for Israel. They claim the co-pilot was radicalized during his studies in Australia.
However, neither Abu Hamza nor his community center face any criminal charges to date, according to France 24.
