Local authorities indicated that the implicated drink, named “Monkey Shoulder,” is a locally made herbal preparation with a high alcohol content. The investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of this poisoning.
The Ondo state police announced the arrest of 15 individuals linked to this tragic incident.
