Duane “Keffe D” Davis, former Los Angeles gang leader, was sentenced on Tuesday to a minimum of 40 years in prison for the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur, who was killed thirty years ago.
Despite years of boasting about his involvement in the murder, Davis denied any responsibility during his trial. His conviction, which is expected to keep him in prison for life, comes after decades of investigations criticized for their ineffectiveness.
