B-Empire Magazine

On Saturday, significant smoke and flames were observed near Riyadh’s main international airport, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

According to an on-site journalist reported by France 24, a fuel tank belonging to Aramco located near the airport was on fire, causing major disruptions to air traffic.

Residents of Riyadh also heard several loud explosions, occurring hours after Saudi authorities issued their first alert for the capital amid the recent escalation of conflict with the Houthi rebels, supported by Iran, in Yemen.
