Since September 17, a student protest and blockade movement, initially launched in the Paris region, has spread throughout France.
According to France 24, more than 400 high schools are now paralyzed, and tensions have escalated in many cities.
Over 5,000 people have been arrested since the protests began.
Organizers are calling for continued mobilization, particularly on October 6, citing the absence of “concrete measures” in response to their demands.
