The high school student movement in France has continued for several days with blockades in multiple schools, reports France 24 on Thursday, October 2.
Philippe Moreau-Chevrolet, professor of political communication at Sciences Po and guest on France 24, emphasizes that while the students’ demands are legitimate, the mobilization is now characterized by a climate of anger and distrust.
He also notes the presence of more violent elements and attacks against the media, indicating that the students are caught in a tense political context ahead of the presidential election.
