Blockades and demonstrations by high school and university students in France continued this week, occasionally leading to violent incidents, according to France 24.
Meanwhile, French astronaut Sophie Adenot returned to Earth after an eight-month stay aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
These events come during a week also marked by commemorations in Israel of the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks.
