In Gaza, more than 4,000 Palestinian children have been maimed by Israeli strikes, according to the United Nations, reports France 24 on Thursday, October 4.
These children, wounded in their bodies, are trying, as best they can, to reclaim their physical selves. To support this, the NGO Heal Palestine organizes swimming sessions in the few still-operational pools within the Palestinian enclave.
These activities aim to assist these young victims in their physical and psychological recovery despite the difficult conditions in the region.
