On Sunday, September 27, Google Earth released new satellite images of the Gaza Strip, updating visuals of the region for the first time in two years.
These images, dated February 2026, primarily cover the southern part of the enclave, notably the city of Rafah.
According to RFI, they reveal massive destruction of entire neighborhoods caused by the Israeli army as part of its war launched after the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023.
