The International Criminal Court (ICC) announced on Monday that it has issued two arrest warrants against Taliban ministers in charge of Education in Afghanistan.

These officials are accused of crimes against humanity due to the ban imposed on women from studying beyond the age of 12.

These warrants add to those already issued against the Taliban’s supreme leader and the president of the Afghan Supreme Court, who are also wanted by the ICC.
