Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated Tuesday evening, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, that Kiev and Washington wish for the war with Russia to end “before winter.”
He mentioned a “productive meeting with Donald Trump” during which they discussed “potential de-escalation steps that could open the way to diplomacy.”
Volodymyr Zelensky also referenced discussions about an “energy moratorium,” without providing further details.
