Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko has advised residents who can “temporarily relocate” for the winter to do so, due to a shortage of adequate bomb shelters in the Ukrainian capital.
This recommendation was met with derision by many residents, who accuse the municipal administration of not having sufficiently prepared the city against Russian attacks.
Residents particularly denounce a severe lack of suitable shelters to protect themselves from bombings, fueling their dissatisfaction with local authorities.
