The Human Rights League (LDH) strongly criticized on Monday, October 5, the interventions of law enforcement during high school blockades in France. According to the LDH, these interventions reflect a “widespread drift away from the rule of law.”
On the eve of a new day of mobilization by high school students, joined by university students and several national education unions, the LDH and several union organizations condemned the authorities’ choice of an “all-repressive” approach, favoring repression over dialogue.
