French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday, October 2, called on G7 countries to “act in a coordinated manner, without export restrictions” to lower fuel prices, especially diesel.
He proposed releasing 50 million barrels of European diesel, as well as 50 million barrels of crude oil from member countries of the International Energy Agency (IEA) to address the price surge.
