Morocco is holding the renewal of all 395 seats of its House of Representatives on September 23 within a reformed electoral framework, according to France 24.
The reforms notably concern the modalities of candidacies, the financing of political parties, as well as increased representation of women and youth on electoral lists.
Beyond the electoral rules, Moroccans expect concrete responses on major issues such as purchasing power, employment, education, and health. These social challenges are at the heart of concerns, and political parties are called upon to restore trust in political representation.
