A new four-lane road bridge linking China to North Korea was inaugurated on Thursday, following a 12-year delay, reports France 24.
This new infrastructure will significantly enhance cross-border trade between China, North Korea’s main trading partner, and its isolated, nuclear-armed neighbor.
Despite occasionally tense relations with the ruling Kim dynasty, China remains a vital political and diplomatic supporter of Pyongyang.
