Pope Leo XIV faces a delicate situation during his visit to France, where the Society of Saint Pius X, an excommunicated traditionalist community, operates around a hundred places of worship and a network of private schools, reports France 24.
This Society expects the pope to take firm positions on sensitive societal issues, notably euthanasia and abortion, placing Leo XIV in a complex religious and political dilemma.
