Pope Leo XIV is undertaking his first official visit to Paris in 18 years, according to France 24. This four-day trip includes a meeting with President Emmanuel Macron and a session with UNESCO.
The itinerary also features a popemobile procession through the capital, a prayer at the Notre-Dame Cathedral, and a youth vigil at the Stade de France.
The visit will culminate with a mass at Place de la Concorde, expected to attract up to one million attendees. After Paris, the pope will travel to Lourdes and Metz.
