Rassemblement national (RN) Vice-President Sébastien Chenu strongly condemned on Friday, October 16, the “condescension” shown by Volodymyr Zelensky towards Marine Le Pen.
The Ukrainian president had stated the day before that the RN presidential candidate “did not have a good grasp of certain details” related to her proposal to cut all aid to Kyiv after six months if elected.
Zelensky’s reaction followed Marine Le Pen’s proposal to suspend French aid to Ukraine after six months, a sensitive issue amid the ongoing conflict.
