No longer just “the voice on Disclosure’s ‘Voices'” or a London R&B prospect: in winter 2026, Sasha Keable has become one of Britain’s most-watched singers of the year. A new single, “Options”, a standout Saturday Night Live UK slot and an Amy Winehouse tribute at the Roundhouse: here is the season that changed her trajectory.

“Options”, the single that opens her winter

Released on October 1, 2026, “Options” is a soulful R&B track about the blurred lines of intimacy after a breakup. Co-written with Eddie Lopes, the song came together almost on instinct: the melody was already written, and Keable sang back the first idea that came to her.

The video was shot in Colombia, where she has family roots. It is directed by Josefina Santos, with creative direction by Michelle Helena Janssen, a visual nod to the South London artist’s British-Colombian identity.

The Saturday Night Live UK moment

On October 10, Sasha Keable was the musical guest on the fourth episode of Saturday Night Live UK‘s second series, hosted by Danny Dyer. She performed “Options” and “Why”, a 2024 song later included on her Act Right EP, putting her in front of an audience far beyond R&B fans.

On October 21, she was on the bill at London’s Roundhouse for the 20th anniversary celebration of Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black, alongside Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas, Corinne Bailey Rae and FLO, with Mark Ronson, Salaam Remi and the Amy Winehouse Band.

2026, her breakout year

These appearances cap an exceptional year for the singer, born in 1994:

On stage, she toured with GIVĒON, supported Olivia Dean in Dublin and played Roots Picnic in both London and Philadelphia, as well as the Montreux Jazz Festival.

From Disclosure to solo recognition

Audiences first heard her in 2013 on Disclosure’s “Voices”, followed by a UK tour with the duo and a support slot for Katy B. Her early EPs, Black Book (2013) and Lemongrass and Limeleaves (2014), came out on Tinie Tempah’s Disturbing London label. More than a decade on, recognition is arriving under her own name.

What to watch this winter

No new tour or album has been officially announced so far. But with “Options” opening a new era and her profile at an all-time high after SNL UK, Sasha Keable is one of the names to watch through winter 2026-2027. B-Empire Magazine will follow every announcement.
