On October 12, during the “4V” program, Serge Papin, Minister of SMEs, Commerce, and Purchasing Power, discussed several measures related to employees’ purchasing power.

He notably defended maintaining the €25 daily cap on meal vouchers, emphasizing his wish that “employees’ ability to spend as they wish on their meals is not hindered.”

The minister also expressed support for allowing meal vouchers to be used on Sundays, a measure that could extend their use beyond the usual working days.

Additionally, he clarified the modalities for unlocking strategic fuel reserves and the expected decrease in diesel prices, particularly at rural service stations.
