Protesters mobilized against the housing crisis in Spain have been camping for three nights in central Madrid, including an evicted retiree, to maintain pressure on the government ahead of an important cabinet meeting, reports France 24.
In Barcelona, around 2,000 people also protested Monday evening, linking high housing costs to overtourism, demanding ambitious measures during Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s visit to the city.
