Taiwan welcomed its first two next-generation American F-16V fighter jets on Friday, October 2, at the Taitung military base located in the south of the island.
This delivery, reported by RFI, is a relief for Taipei, whose military heavily depends on arms shipments from the United States. These aircraft are intended to enable Taiwan to modernize its military capabilities and strengthen its defense against Chinese threats.
