In early October, several data centers of Yandex, the “Russian Google,” were hit by Ukrainian drones, disrupting some services, reports France 24 on Thursday, October 13.
This offensive is part of a Ukrainian strategy aimed at weakening the Russian economy by targeting its key digital infrastructures, following attacks on warehouses of the e-commerce giant Wildberries.
These strikes highlight the vulnerability of data centers, which have become essential to the operation of digital services and the Russian economy.
