From October 1 to October 14, Cambodians living abroad are invited to vote to elect a symbolic Parliament in exile, according to RFI.

This initiative is led by the Khmer Movement for Democracy (KMD), which offers 47 seats to be filled. The main goal is to promote democracy in a country ruled with an iron fist by the Hun family for over forty years.

This election is not an official presidential or legislative vote but a symbolic act intended to support democracy in Cambodia.
