The Timor-Leste national men's football team represents the country in international competitions. A member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), it was established after Timor-Leste's independence in 2002. Although the team has faced challenges in competitive play, it has made notable progress in developing national football. Qualification matches for the World Cup and the Asian Cup are key moments in its history.
