On October 17, approximately 3,000 businesses in France were damaged and looted, causing a significant crisis in the commercial sector.

In response, representatives of the commercial sector met with the Minister of Commerce, who announced exceptional support measures to assist the affected businesses.

These measures include the creation of a specific fund intended to support the impacted businesses, as well as full coverage of partial unemployment benefits at 100% for employees during the period of business closure related to the damages.

This initiative aims to mitigate the economic impact of these events on merchants and their employees by providing direct financial support and ensuring continuity of employee income despite the temporary halt in activity.
