On Thursday, Saudi Arabia accused the Houthi rebels of targeting on Tuesday an electrical infrastructure supplying the Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Medina.

This accusation follows a similar attack targeting Mecca in September, also attributed to the Houthis.

Several countries, including Yemen, Qatar, Turkey, Sudan, as well as the Arab League, have condemned this attack.

The Iranian-backed Yemeni Houthi rebels have denied any responsibility for the incident.
