On October 14, Houthi fighters claimed attacks on a site of the oil giant Aramco as well as on Riyadh airport in Saudi Arabia, reports RFI.

These operations come after Saudi authorities confirmed a strike on an Aramco building.

The Yemeni rebels warned that such attacks would continue in the coming days.

According to Akram Kharief, a researcher in defense and security in the Middle East, the Houthis have significantly modernized their military capabilities since 2022, gaining in power and autonomy.
