Justin Rose, 2016 Olympic champion and 2013 US Open winner, is the first ambassador and investor of McLaren Golf, launched last April.

He works closely with McLaren’s engineering team to test club prototypes, hoping to apply the Formula 1 culture—where every millisecond counts—to his golf game.

Rose aims to convert his recent major podium finishes—second at the 2024 Open, second at the 2025 Masters, third at Augusta 2026—into victories.

Based near the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, he regards the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth as a home tournament, strengthening this innovative partnership between F1 and golf.

He also highlights his growing interest in F1, notably through his connections with the McLaren team and its drivers, Zak Brown and Lando Norris.
