The party of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva announced on Wednesday its intention to file a complaint against Meta with the Organization of American States (OAS), accusing the company of interference in the presidential election.

According to Lula’s campaign, Meta restricted the dissemination of online content favorable to the incumbent president just days before the second round scheduled for October 25, where Lula will face Senator Flavio Bolsonaro.

Meta, for its part, has denied these accusations of electoral interference.
