The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) won the largest number of seats in the Moroccan legislative elections, according to final results announced Friday by the Interior Ministry.
PAM secured 97 out of 395 seats in the House of Representatives, which does not grant it an absolute majority. Founded by a royal advisor close to King Mohammed VI, the party will therefore need to negotiate with other political formations to form a governing coalition.
