The Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the Central African Republic (CAR) have announced the start of construction on a 645-meter bridge that will connect their respective capitals, Bangui and Zongo.
This project, financed by the World Bank with $60 million, aims to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The bridge will facilitate commercial exchanges, secure travel, and bring the populations on both sides of the river closer together.
