North Korea tested two types of strategic submarine-launched cruise missiles on Wednesday, the official KCNA news agency reported on Thursday.
According to KCNA, these launches do not pose a threat to neighboring countries. The tests come amid heightened tensions with South Korea, notably following a mine explosion on September 21 in the demilitarized zone that injured three South Korean soldiers.
