George Russell was the standout driver of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend in Baku, securing pole position with an eight-tenths of a second advantage and converting that performance into a victory despite strong pressure from Max Verstappen late in the race, according to the Power Rankings judges panel.

Max Verstappen, hampered by power unit issues during qualifying that relegated him to eighth on the grid, made an impressive comeback to finish second, nearly challenging for the win.

Isack Hadjar, returning from a wrist injury, impressed by qualifying fourth and achieving his first “pure speed” podium in Formula 1.

Pierre Gasly, eliminated after a collision with teammate Franco Colapinto, and Esteban Ocon, who advanced from 14th to 8th during the race, were also noted by the judges.
