High school organizations in France have called for a “third act” of mobilization on October 6, following a week of blockades in high schools. This movement, which has sometimes involved violent actions, has resulted in nearly 2,000 arrests and over 300 injuries among law enforcement officers, as well as damage to several schools.

On Friday, October 2, three high school unions met with the Minister of National Education. However, disappointed by the proposed measures, they decided to continue the mobilization.
