The White House recently promoted the streaming channel “Trump TV” by sharing a photo modified by artificial intelligence (AI) showing passengers apparently watching this new channel.
According to France 24, the original image, published in February 2023, showed passengers watching the NFL Super Bowl, with one of them watching the film “Hitch.” This photo was reworked by AI to give the impression that the passengers were watching “Trump TV.”
The post sharing this image did not indicate that it had been altered, raising questions about the transparency of the promotion.
