The French Interior Ministry has initiated a dissolution procedure against the association Égalité et Réconciliation, led by essayist Alain Soral, RFI announced on Sunday, October 11.
According to a letter published by Alain Soral himself, the authorities accuse this organization of “adopting the current of its national-socialist thought,” a direct reference to Nazism.
Alain Soral, a former member of the National Front, has been known for spreading conspiracy theories and antisemitic remarks through this association for nearly 20 years.
