Blockades in French high schools continue on Thursday, October 1, more than ten days after students began mobilizing to demand increased resources and better conditions in several schools.
In multiple cities, these protests have led to disturbances and clashes with the police.
In response to this situation, the Minister of Education has called for remote classes to be held in the affected schools.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has ordered his ministers to cancel their trips in order to focus on managing this crisis.
