On October 11, 2026, Jared Isaacman, NASA Administrator, will pilot one of three F-5 fighter jets during the opening flyover of the NFL game between the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Before the game, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT, NASA team members will welcome fans to an experience zone located in the Jets Tailgate area outside the stadium. Visitors can explore NASA’s lunar return projects under an Artemis dome, participate in interactive games, and take photos with a large inflatable SLS (Space Launch System) rocket.

Jared Isaacman will be available for limited media interviews during the game. This initiative is part of NASA’s Inspiration Tour, which connects academic, industrial, and public stakeholders to promote American leadership in space.

The tour will culminate with the MAX POWER event, a public exhibition of aeronautical and space innovations, held on November 7 and 8, 2026, at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
