At least 30 people were killed in a Russian strike that hit two buses traveling on the same street in Kramatorsk, a strategic stronghold of Ukrainian forces in the Donbass, Ukrainian police reported.
Images shared online show burning vehicles and bodies lying on the ground. In addition to the 30 fatalities, 18 people were injured in the attack.
The Ukrainian capital, Kiev, was also targeted by Russian strikes, with an initial toll of three dead.
